We do this by bringing people together in groups on the phone to create Telephone Communities, allowing people to actively participate and discuss the matters that mean the most to them and most importantly have the vital human contact that many of us take for granted. We are helped by volunteers who give their time and their skills and we keep our costs as low as possible. However, we need your help connect up more isolated people through our Telephone Communities. £8 can help a lonely, housebound person connect with others through a Telephone Community group. £60 can connect up 6 people for an hour reducing their loneliness. £140 can train a volunteer Facilitator to lead Telephone Community groups, improving health, wellbeing and reducing feelings of loneliness. £10 helps to pay our necessary running costs such as rent, postage, salaries. Any gift, however big or small, you can give will go to making a difference to the life of a person who might otherwise be feeling alone, depressed or isolated. Thank you.
