(UK, 1130328) Whilst it should be taken as read that the charity's objective is the promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this specific appeal is to raise funds for the repair of the roof and spire of this well known local landmark. The 5 yearly inspection of the Church building in 2014 recommended essential work be carried out urgently, in particular to "monitor lead roofs and consider replacement before whole sale problems occur". There are regular leaks in wet weather. The PCC have decided to commit £100,000 from our reserves. The Fiends of St. Mary's have committed a further £125,000, but this still leaves us £135,000 short (even with VAT recovery) of the estimated total of £451,000. These include sports such as football, other leisure activities such as cycling and sailing and a variety of other structured activities facilitating instruction and relaxation for the young people who participate. the Organisation's premises in Springfield Hackney are open most week day evenings during school term time providing access to leisure facilities including table football, a gymnasium and internet and computing resources.

It supports Bishopthorpe football club teams, This club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club and eligible for Gift Aid.Proceeds from the Club's fundraising efforts will be used to fund a new community facility and pitches, football kit and club resources Bishopthorpe White Rose Football Club is a friendly junior football club located in the village of Bishopthorpe, south-east of York. We are proud to be working with the Football Association to promote football in the community and are an FA Charter Standard Club. The Club has grown from 19 players to nearly 400 since it was started in May 1999. As well as success on the pitch, the club is now a vibrant and diverse place: we have opportunities for girls and boys in all our age groups, which range from ages 4 to 19, and the club also supports two disability teams. Bishopthorpe White Rose Football Club has good relationships with Bishopthorpe Infant and Junior Schools to promote football in the community and within the local area. We fully support the FA's Respect Campaign and have FA-qualified managers, coaches and Child Welfare Officer. In recognition of our significant work in promoting inclusivity, we were delighted to be named the Yorkshire and North East Region FA Charter Standard Club of the Year 2017.
