CALMS has seen a significant increase in stress calls and because of this the need for their services in our town has never been more valuable. A damaging effect of COVID 19 means that much needed funds have been delayed indefinitely, therefore we are looking to raise money so these mental health programmes keep running. What we do: Special Family Events and Support Programmes with nature trails, mystery hunts, play activities and arts and crafts. Older siblings are welcome to join in. Restorative Walks taking us through an exhilarating variety of landscapes and places of special interest. They are open to all, especially those involved in the care and education of children. Where? Our events take place at a choice of locations on or near the London Loop including the Animal Welfare Centre in Enfield, The View in Epping Forest, The RSPB Nature Reserve in Rainham Marshes, Hall Place in Bexley and the Colne River Valley Visitor Centre. What is the London Loop? The London Loop is an outer Orbital pathway that goes around the green belt of London connecting families and communities that are hugely diverse. There are also places of special interest and natural beauty that can bring a sense of peace and well-being to our often hectic lives.
