A Jewish support group for parents of children with Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder and associated disabilities such as Autistic Spectrum disorders, Conduct disorders, Dyspraxia & Dyslexia. The group, JADDS (Jewish Autistic & Deficit Disorders Support) has been set up by parents for parents. There are support groups in the North West, and national ones, but there is nothing that specifically meets the needs of Jewish parents. Jewish children have needs that may not be catered for by mainstream groups, for example, connected with Jewish schools, accessing culturally appropriate resources, coping with Jewish Studies, attendance at Synagogue or coping on Jewish holidays and holy days.

We worked with about 8 other community groups during our food distribution work and we are currently assisting them in incorporating their groups into charitable organisations. We have been working with them to develop their constitution and project proposals or plans.
