The Fibrous Dysplasia Support Society (FDSS) was formed in 2007 by a group of patients, and their carers, who are affected by Fibrous Dysplasia, McCune Albright Syndrome (MAS) or Cherubism. It exists to provide information and support by sharing our knowledge and experience of the condition.
We are a thriving, diverse, family church that is actively supporting and serving its community. We are moving into a new building because our current one is in poor condition and uneconomical to run, and to ensure our work can make a difference for decades to come. Shani had a large hole in her heart and no artery between her heart and lungs. She suffered heart failure and her family was told she wouldn't recover. Yet, for 5 3/4 yrs, until she died, Shani was a joyful little girl, with a magic heart. We now help other heart children live full and happy lives.
