SEALL is a well-established and trusted performing arts promotion charity based on Skye. For over 28 years, we have delivered world-class performances to our remote rural communities on Skye and Raasay through a year-round programme; the Skye Festival (Fèis an Eilein) in the summer; and the more recent Small Halls Festival in November. SEALL is recognised by the Scottish Government as one of Scotland’s leading rural arts promoters and last year we won the prestigious Scots Trad Award. Our work is underpinned by our communities, heritage and culture and our programmes involve high-quality performances in music, theatre, dance, literature, comedy and children’s shows in halls and stages across Skye and Raasay, including some of the most remote village halls in Scotland. We believe no one should be denied access to great quality performance and we bring the world’s stages to the doorsteps of our rural and isolated communities. This work reaches local and visiting audiences and participants that are multi-generational, multi-cultured, abled and disabled, of all genders and from all walks of life, promoting inclusivity, social cohesion, tolerance and wellbeing. We advocate the relevance and importance of Scotland’s rich cultural heritage and showcase Skye as a beautiful cultural destination.

YTD Raised: £0.00

Please help us to raise £60,000 for our village play park! Our play park is the only play space in our village, which is located just outside of Durham. It’s used by children of all ages, however the park is run-down and needs refurbishment. If this doesn’t happen it will fall out of use and it will be lost to the community. We want to revitalise the play park with new equipment and activity trails for toddler and junior play. The games pitch will be improved for team sports and individual games. Also included is a quieter sensory area for sitting amongst community maintained gardens as well as tables and seating for families and picnics. It will be a place for the village to be proud of and enjoy for generations to come.  Shincliffe Community Association supports residents of all ages in the villages of Shincliffe and High Shincliffe. It is involved with many community activities including: indoor bowling, keep fit, line dancing, rambling, youth club, pantomime, youth football and play park facilities.
