We are a local group of the NDCS and we raise funds to help bring deaf children and their families together, to learn new things while having fun, raising awareness and showing the community that deaf children can enjoy the same things as hearing children
• Providing special high-tech equipment for saving lives • Providing extra support for patients and carers in the hospital and out in the community to enhance well-being • Additional training opportunities for staff development to enhance patient services and staff welfare • Funding ground-breaking research and innovation within the hospital that can have a significant impact on patient care We support causes across the entire Trust in hospitals and our community services and maintain around 120 separate funds each containing money which has been given for a particular ward, department or service. Often it’s simply about enhancing the wards, the facilities and the little touches which help people get better, faster when they come to our great hospital.
