We've been helping Seniors stay active, involved and independent in our area for over 15 years. Until the pandemic hit, we did this through our Befriending and Falls Prevention Services. For the moment, everything has changed both for us and our clients. Sadly, we can no longer visit clients or run classes for the foreseeable future. However, the good news is that we have successfully switched and got our telephone befriending service up and running. 180 clients are being supported by over 35 volunteers and a small dedicated team in the office.

Thank you for visiting our profile page on MyDonate.We are a volunteer run Riding for the Disabled Group based at Factory Farm, Emley Moor in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. We provide horse riding sessions for adults and children with a wide range of disabilities. We ride from April to September on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 5pm to 7pm, and we have approximately 25 riders. We rely entirely on donations to fund the upkeep of the ponies and buy equipment to help our riders get the most out of their riding.  Please donate to support our cause.We are currently fundraising to ensure the future of the group and to try and purchase a big horse as we sadly had to retire Tinker at the end of last season and have been unable to find a replacement on loan.
