Feeding and Empowering Adults Sustainably Together! The main tenets of the FEAST! philosophy above go to the heart of what we are trying to achieve: Malnutrition Prevention: homeless and vulnerable people are particularly susceptible to food poverty. There is enough food in the world to feed everyone, yet people go hungry. At the most basic level, FEAST! provides regular nutritious meals to help alleviate this. Beyond the meal, cooking and eating our FEAST!s together help develop cooking skills, providing sustainable food aid. Minimising Food Waste: each FEAST! generates 0 waste, and uses surplus food and upcycled plastic. We use ingredients that are unfit for sale, at 0 cost! We collect old butter or yoghurt tubs to pack leftovers at the end of a FEAST! Community Cohesion: We care about developing individuals and community. At each FEAST! we build bridges between volunteers and participants by cooking and eating together. We are partnered with a multitude of local initiatives, groups, and other stakeholders including the council, aiming to engender community cohesion.

Previous social programmes include arts and crafts, drama and music classes. 13-25 year group - This social programme promotes social development and independent living skills through activities such as cookery, first aid training, drama, outdoor pursuits and dance. Some courses offered lead to recognised accreditation.

Providing support for men who have been sexually abused Mankind is the only agency in the South East dedicated to the wellbeing of men who have experienced sexual violation at any time in their lives. We define sexual violation as any non-consensual or unwanted act of sexualised violence, coercion, manipulation or abuse - this includes childhood sexual abuse, adult sexual assault and rape. We want to see a world where no one is silenced by sexual violence We focus on working with men because research estimates that 1-in-9 men have suffered childhood sexual abuse, and 1-in-29 men have experienced sexual violence as an adult.  This equates to nearly 4 million men across the UK. We work with men but care about everyone We see sexual abuse as a community issue and it is only by working together we can tackle the problems that allows sexual abuse to persist.  A contribution to Mankind will enable us to continue to provide therapeutic services to men and also develop community based resources that will empower us all to take action against abuse. Action for Conservation uses pioneering approaches to engage and inspire young people to become the next generation of nature conservationists. 79% of children lack adequate connection to nature, making them less likely to protect it as adults. We partner with conservation organisations such as the National Trust and the Wildlife Trusts to inspire and empower young people, aged 12-18, across the UK to take action locally and revitalise conservation. Action for Conservation is led by an outstanding Board, including the renowned conservationist and Founding Director of the University of Oxford’s Wildlife Conservation Research Unit, David Macdonald CBE, and the best-selling and prize-winning author on nature, landscape and place, Robert Macfarlane, and a team of Special Advisors, including Dame Helen Ghosh DCB, Director General of the National Trust.
