(UK, 1167901) Browse eventsFOECS are having to secure our school's future by raising £40k by July 2017 to expand our school from an infant school to to a C of E Primary school by September 2017. In the past year the school has succeeded in going through a process of change to become a Church of England Voluntary Aided School. The Governors are now pursuing the next stage in our long-term strategic plan for the School; to expand to become a full Primary School catering for children from the age of 2 to 11 years from September 2017. The proposal is to commence the expansion to Primary with the addition of Year 3 from September 2017 and then grow organically by adding a year group per year until we reach full Primary in September 2020.BUT as there are no grants available to help us with this cause we are having to reach out to our community and local businesses to help us achive our fundraising goal of £40k. This will help us fund a new classroom and a new teacher for September 2017. In the past 6 months we have raised £30.5k (Jan'17) so we're 3/4 of our way there which is why we are now asking if you would like to make a donation which will enable us to secure our school's future and hit our target by July!
