Sadly our founder, Louise Taylor, lost her first born, Ruben, in the middle of her pregnancy. Struggling to find support after her loss, she turned to alternative ways to keep her mind focused and away from the heavy thoughts that come after a child loss. The aims of the LFMNT is to grow the access to support services for bereaved families. We promote art therapy, either individual or group sessions. We want our families to develop coping mechanisms after their trauma. Each person or families will have a different approach but we at the LFMNT have established a relationship with other local bereaved mums and volunteers who want to help raise awareness and help deliver the aims of the Trust. Last year we developed relationships with Northern Irelands finest art therapists. They can see the vision for this charity and helped design a pilot project that engaged 10 bereaved families and 30 individuals to our alternative approach. Our plan for 2022 is to work with another 10 bereaved families and provide them with art therapy sessions. The support we are able to offer families can only grow if we continue to raise funds. Our hopes and dreams for the LFMNTs are huge, and we know we will achieve so much more over the next few years. We are excited to be in a position to be working to help change Northern Ireland's lack of alternative practical support for bereaved parents.

The Eden Foundation Huddersfield (TEFH) is a charity set up by a number of residents from within the local Muslim community. Our aim is to tackle some of the educational and social needs of our community. To help achieve our goals, fulfil our vision, and respond to the needs of the community in Huddersfield, we have managed to successfully purchase a property on the corner of Dryclough Road and Walpole Road, Crosland Moor. This will serve as our home and help us scale up our current services and projects. However the building is currently in a poor state and needs significant repairs and renovation. For the building to be functional and safe for our intended use we need to raise £141,000.By the grace of Allah, work has now started and renovation work is well on its way, however this does mean that we require donations urgently. We ask you to donate generously to this worthy cause. May Allah accept your donation. Charity No: 1153029 Find out more Website http://www.theedenfoundation.org.uk
