Arts Care are the only Arts in Health charity in Northern Ireland. Our professional artists provide wonderful visual art, music and dance projects for patients to join, working in cancer care services, mental health services, acute services, older people and young people’s services, in hospitals and hospices across the province. Arts Care also send their dedicated and highly trained Clown Doctors to hospitals to visit sick children and young people, bringing a smile to their faces and where possible, speeding their recovery.
Enable Me works in schools and the community to raise disability awareness. It does this by providing assemblies, workshops, disability sports events and other activities (such as workforce development training) that are delivered by a team of trained volunteers, the majority of whom are disabled.
