Our Mission is to put on imaginative events for people of all mental experience. All our events seek to connect our inner and our outerworld and ourselves to one another, whoever we may be. The Dragon Café is the UK’s first ‘mental health café’ and creative space, devised and delivered by Mental Fight Club, a London-based, service-user led, creative force for change. Based in the crypt of St George the Martyr’s Church in Borough High St, The Dragon Café is a weekly pop-up cafe with a packed programme of creative activities and events. It’s open from midday to 20.30 every Monday, including bank holidays. All are welcome but the VIPs at The Dragon Café are those who are struggling through vulnerability, mental illness and recovery. Futurestars is an exciting education through sports programme that offers weekly sports coaching sessions, run by qualified coaches, to underprivileged children in Tema, Ghana, and Lome, Togo. We partner with one school in Lome and five schools in Tema, who all report increased attendance and pupil engagement. Futurestars also funds a much needed refurbishment programme at the five partner schools in Ghana.

The Mixed Division (trading as The Mixed Group) raises money to fund an annual Christmas Day meal and an annual Summer Cream Tea for lonely and elderly residents living within the Borough of Welwyn Hatfield in Hertfordshire. Every year, we have almost 100 volunteers give up their own Christmas Day to collect 120 elderly and lonely residents from the local area and bring them to a community hall where they will have a free Christmas Lunch, entertainment, presents, gift vouchers and sandwiches to take home. When someone has cancer, the effects reach far beyond the patient and our family motto has always been “we’re all in this together”.
