With 20+ active Lions in the Club, we are a very active club who meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 20:00 hrs at the Southcrest Manor Hotel, Pool Bank, Redditch B97 4JS to further our work, enjoy good company, and – above all – to work out how to have a good time serving the community.

Warrington Community Living is a local charity that seeks to support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, older people, people with dementia and people experiencing mental health issues to lead their lives in a purposeful, healthy and enjoyable way as full and equal members of their local community. Blood Bikes Scotland are a dedicated team of volunteer motorcyclists, who commit their time to provide a service for NHS Lothian, Fife, Forth Valley and Scottish Borders. Using a fleet of fully liveried motorbikes, we offer this unscheduled service free of charge to the NHS as an alternative to taxis or couriers as a way of ‘giving something back’. We deliver small urgent items including blood samples, donor baby milk, equipment, medication that are urgently requiring to be moved from one site to another or from a patients home in the community. By using motorbikes, we are able to move these items quicker than four wheeled vehicles which is vital as many items are time critical.

Riverbrae School- the Fundraisers behind the school! We are there to support the fantastic teaching staff at Riverbrae School by raising funds to enhance the educational experience of all the special children who are part of the Riverbrae Family. Riverbrae School and Pre-5 Centre is a Special Educational Needs School for children between the age of two and eighteen, based in Linwood, though children from all over Renfrewshire County attend the school. Throughout the year we have events to fund lots of different trips or equipment for the children. We love being able to give the children the same experiences as their mainstream counterparts - what eighteen year old doesn't want to go to the Prom?

The RSPCA South Yorkshire Animal Centre works hard to rehabilitate and re-home animals in need that are rescued by our Inspectors. To achieve this, we operate a large Animal Centre on the Great North Road, a mile north of Bawtry. It costs approximately £1000 every day to run the Centre and we rely on donations from local people and organisations and have a dedicated team of volunteers who work tirelessly fundraising for the animals in our care.
