Its senior ensembles have a proud reputation for the quality of their performance and have performed at concerts and festivals throughout the Country and most of Europe. In May 2012 NMPAT was appointed the lead partner of the new Music Education Hub and will work with other local Music and Arts organisations to deliver the promises of the government's National Music Plan. We are a small group who have all been affected by the loss of a baby, either our own baby, a grandchild or a close family member. HUGS has been set up to offer comfort to bereaved parents and their family. We provide our local hospitals with keepsake boxes filled with gifts to help parents make memories with their baby in the short time that they get to spend together at the hospital. We can offer one to one meetings, phone support, group meetings or chat via emails. For others, we can offer full courses of alternative therapies such as acupuncture or hypnotherapy.

As one person, withexperience of our course, described it: “tastelife is a life-saver”. Help from the NHS is limited to the most severe cases and hospitaladmissions for those dangerously ill with anorexia and bulimia have doubled over the last three years. Government sources suggest that 4 million people in the UK have eating disorders. Many overweight people are suffering from bingeeating disorder which literally means they are addicted to food and in danger of diabetes, heart disease or stroke.With cuts to mental health budgets continuing, tastelife plugs a much needed gap, offering an 8 session, accredited, community course toprovide sufferers and their carers with tools to walk out of the darkness into the light. We need your help to bring light to more people.
