The Lisa Wilson Scholarship Fund was set up by the Wilson family following the death of their daughter Lisa in Nov 2002 whilst travelling in Australia. Lisa had just graduated from Southampton Solent University with a BA 2-1 in Business Management and her reward to herself for her hard work was a trip around the world that sadly ended in tragedy. The charity provides bursaries to young adults who have overcome adversity or can demonstrate why they need additional funding to enable them to fulfil their educational dreams and ambitions in the way Lisa did.

We stand together with the poorest and the most vulnerable. And with them we build, toward a world where everyone has a decent place to call home and the opportunity for a life built on hope and potential, self-reliance and dignity. Our work takes us across the world, on projects such as: - Housing Lesotho's orphans; - Funding small business loans in Tajikistan; - Setting up refugee camps in Macedonia & emergency housing in Haiti; - Building clean water projects in Delhi; - Building affordable homes here in the UK. We are constantly reaching out to those who need us most, to those who cannot reach out for themselves. And that is where you come in. Building a world where everyone has a safe place to call home will take all of us. By working together, we can all play a part. We can all make a difference.
