The Access to Sports Project is a registered charity, with a 15 year track record of delivering programmes designed to increase participation in a wide variety of sports and physical activities. We aim to increase and sustain participation in sport and physical activity, especially for disadvantaged people or communities by providing: - a range of accessible and affordable sports activities for young people in local venues. This work is carried out in local venues, notably housing estates, parks and other open spaces. - accredited training for local people enabling them to gain qualifications as sports coaches/leaders. - providing support and assistance to local sports organisations and voluntary groups interested in sports (eg. sports groups or community/voluntary organisations). The majority of our services are provided free of charge or at low cost to participants and we remain committed to providing opportunities to the most disadvantaged people in the areas in which we operate. We are raising funds for the Institute of Cancer Research to support research into childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukamia. We also support Shropshire/ West Mids families with children undergoing treatment through the distribution of grants and gifts.
The group provides weekly activities at our section meetings as well as activities away from our meeting place. These often provide our members with opportunities to learn new life skills and the world around them Often these are opportunities they would never otherwise get.

SisterWood supports girls between the age of 12-16 with mental wellbeing and resilience. With your help, our programme, held in a woodland setting and a caring community, blends forest school and mindfulness-based practices to co-create positive coping mechanisms from a place of resilience.
We provide relief to women, children and young people, who have suffered or are still experiencing domestic abuse by providing safe, temporary accommodation away from abusers; offering time, safe space and information for women, children and young people experiencing domestic abuse. We Offer a range of services within the community to meet individual needs providing structured supportive opportunities to allow women, children and young people to make choices for their future; We Liaise with other services on behalf of the women, children and young people who are or have experience of domestic abuse by giving support and information on access to other services; Advocating for women, children and young people affected by domestic abuse within legal and other protection services.
It is an independent registered charity, run by volunteers, whose aim is to help improve the quality of life for all ME sufferers, their families and carers.
The charity serves to improve the comfort of patients at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Donations received are used to purchase equipment that improves patient care. Donations are also used to pay for education opportunities for staff so that they can improve the care they provide to patients.
