Support is given by volunteers who themselves have experienced the death of a baby, and include telephone support, one on one support and monthly group meetings. Sands (Vic) also has a range of written material. All donations over $2 to Sands (Vic) are tax deductible.

We carry out projects to provide extra equipment through social functions and community events. For more than eighty years businesses and local residents have combined to assist our community hospital. Our activities are wide ranging, from BBQs to Fun Runs, dinners, coffee days, cocktail parties, card days, book talks and concerts. These events have provided items such as specialist maternity beds, a neo-natal resuscitation kit, ECG machine, ward trolleys, bladder scanner and lifting devices.
