Ensuring parents receive early, ongoing support, information and an opportunity to create lasting memories and keepsakes of their time with their child to treasure forever. Yasminah's Gift Of Hope Journals are a very special keepsake that allows families to keep ultrasound images, photos, cot cards, arm bands, and foot and hand prints as a cherished keepsake of a precious life. Each journal contains a special page that the family can fill in about details of their child like name, date of birth, place of birth and details of the funeral or memorial service if their child has passed away. We encourage families to write about their journey. The family may like to keep it is a diary during their pregnancy or after birth, after being told their child has a congenital abnormality, a journey through the roller coaster ride of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit when their child is born premature, or life after the loss of their child. Some other uses are to write about the birth of their child, write poems about how they are feeling, write a letter to their child and keep any cards or messages received from family or friends. Most importantly families can write down details and memories about their child to treasure forever. A Gift Of Hope. Find Hope to keep you strong... Find Light to lead the way... Tom was killed after he was struck in the head in an unprovoked attack on Victoria Street in Kings Cross 07th July 2012. The nation was stunned and outraged. Thomas' family along with a selected group of board members and corporate partners have banded together to look at reducing the harms in our youth of drinking irresponsibly. The harms are many including: cancer, car accidents, suicide, sexual assault, affray, domestic and non-domestic violence - to name a few. In order to see this kind of 'behavioural' change it was first necessary to look at appropriate legislative change. This has now been achieved. The next stage is long-term education and awareness of looking after each other through respect, relationships and responsibility - using our platform "TAKE KARE". Our mission is to ensure that all of our children come home safely. Thank you so much for supporting our Foundation. Ralph, Kathy and the Kelly family.

Connecting Hands is an Australian based not for profit charity supporting young women & children who have been sold & trafficked into sexual slavery in Cambodia. Our hope is that one day we see the abolishment of modern day slavery, have the means to stop perpetrators and free the many young and innocent lives that are exploited every day. We are committed to forcing sex slavery out of the shadows and shining a spotlight on this horrendous crime. Connecting Hands works towards alleviating the impact of sexual slavery by providing young women and children who have been rescued from such terrible acts a more sustainable and brighter future as they face a life free from slavery. Sex Trafficking is the buying and selling of women and children who are forced or coerced into commercial prostitution against their will. Human Trafficking is a crime against humanity. It involves the act of recruiting, transporting, transferring, harboring or receiving a person by force, coercion or other violent means, for the purpose of exploiting them. Victims are found in various industries with a major focus on the sex industry. Every year thousands of women and children fall into the hands of traffickers, in their home countries and abroad. Victims of trafficking are subject to abuse in the worst forms of physical violence, sexual assault, threats to family members, torture & emotional abuse. Sadly too many of these victims are young women & children. Our hope is that one day we see the abolishment of modern day slavery, have the means to stop perpetrators and free the many young and innocent lives that are exploited every day. Freedom is a basic human right and slavery is one of the greatest threats to that freedom. No one has the right to sell or enslave another person.
