Testimonials Experienced teacher "In all my years teaching I have never had a student come up to me and tell me that they were concerned about the wellbeing of another student. This has just happened, and I put it down to the boys having done the HeadSmart program." Parent I have been trying for years to get my son to meet and talk with someone. He was only willing to do it after he did the HeadSmart program, as he seemed to think that it was okay to talk with someone after he did (the program). He has now begun talking with a psychologist on a regular basis to help him with his issues."   Students "I didn't think that talking with someone would make any difference, but it has. It's nice to know that it's not just all in my head." "I know that you can't do anything to change the situation at home, but it helps to have someone to talk to. It helps me stay sane." Making a Difference HeadSmart is all about early intervention. By screening teens for early signs of possible mental health concerns, and educating them to help themselves and others, HeadSmart is changing the way we approach depression. An investment today in youth mental health will reduce the costs of mental health issues in the future. By educating our youth of today about depression, where and how to seek help, and empowering the change in attitude toward depression and mental health, we are helping combat this all too common community concern.  You have an opportunity to help change the future of mental health in Australia by supporting HeadSmart.
