The College is an inclusive college that follows the One School Model which includes mainstream, education support and students with special needs within the one setting. A dedicated learning community for students with special needs is also a feature of the college. To support this learning community we are in the process of developing a sensory room and sensory garden to assist students with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

BrightStars school truly changes the lives of its students. They receive a first class primary education and are supplied with uniforms and meals. They are also given health and welfare support and the opportunity to be part of a caring community. This year the school started a new literacy program for mothers and older siblings who have missed out on education. It is presently installing a new computer program and library room. Every dollar of your support that EchoStars receives from the City2surf appeal will go to BrightStars School Development Program.
