Standing Tall is a youth mentoring program helping kids that are disengaged in school or life in general through one on one mentoring at Warrnambool and Brauer College. Students are matched up with a mentor from the community who undergoes a strict screening policy, they then spend an hour a week together during school hours. The aim of the program is to provide support, knowledge and build a friendship with the student and guide them through a challenging period of their life.

The Foundation is an initiative of the Australian Book Industry and has sent over 100,000 books to more than 230 communities across Australia, runs Book Buzz, an early literacy project, and works to sponsor individual community literacy projects

ALNF's programs span from early years learning through to adolescent and adult learning needs and address the needs of a diverse range of individuals and communities, including Indigenous, refugee and migrant communities.
Moriac is a rural community on the edge of the Otways, 25 kilometres southwest of Geelong and on the railway line to Warrnambool. Our current enrolment of 207 students, live in homes located on township blocks, small low acreage farms and large rural holdings.
